How to Get Started
Oracle Generative AI Agents and AI Agent Studio are enabled by your Fusion/OCI admins—no public signup. Use the steps below to turn it on with the right roles, policies, and guardrails.

Enable Integration
In Setup and Maintenance , set profile option ORA_ASE_SAS_INTEGRATION_ENABLED to Yes (Site level). This connects Security Console with AI Agent Studio.
Assign Roles & Permissions
In Security Console , assign the predefined duty roles for AI Agent Studio to the right job roles and enable required permission groups. Map users to Agent Teams inside the Studio.
Access AI Agent Studio
Go to Navigator→Tools→AI Agent Studio . Create or extend agents, attach tools (e.g., the SQL Tool for NL → SQL), and configure guardrails & policies.
Publish, Secure & Monitor
Publish the agent, expose a REST endpoint, and apply allowlists/approvals. Validate with test chats and monitor quality, latency, and cost. Confirm regional availability before rollout.
